Husnu Ozyegin, subway and tear gas

The FT interview portraying the business style of Turkish businessman Husnu Ozyegin is something to be read if not on a day like this when the Turkish police is attacking young people with tear gas and pressured water. http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/143acf14-c308-11e2-9bcb-00144feab7de.html#axzz2UwwEV1f5
But maybe it is the other way around. The dialogue that impressed me the most about him happened to take place in the subway where the police loves to both block at the main station and shover people with tear gas at the previous station. One of the two men in dark blue suits was telling the story of how he and his son chose the appropriate university saying "We chose Ozyegin's university, mainly because of him. The man is a tradesman. He knows the business."
University and trade or financial matters were seen on the very opposite sides some 25 years ago while I was a student at the university and is still a matter not perfectly cleared.
"Did you talk to him" asked the other guy and the answer was "No, but I watched two videos."
The clue behind the success of Ozyegin -reported vey well on the FT article- is having not only the vision but also the means to achieve it which is an approach badly needed these days.
So it is good to read the article as Ataturk, the founder of the republic was reading diversified works preparing himself for the future during the hottest days of the War of Independence without losing the focus defined by current status.
I believe it would be better if we can start shaping new balances together with business people, professionals and Kurds notwithstanding the other social actors. I don't want to make a list. It is sufficient if I say housewives are more effective but those three groups are the ones to drive current transformation in their own ways.
So last but not least, I should say that I am more than unhappy to see that Gezi Park where  I have a lot of memories be the center of such violence. But I also see that the place which already became a parking area for police vehicles and will not be abandoned by the prime minister taking into account the new owners of the hotels which became many in number at Talimhane just on the other side of the street require the shopping mall to receive the return on their investments.
The businessmen and professionals have to put the vision for Turkey so the main economic activity in Turkey will focus on adding value rather than earning money in ways harming the country. And we need the Kurds as they could survive the military coup in 1980 while we lost our identity and basic values. If these happen, I will be able to say that my country will last forever as Mr.Ozyegin tells about his university in the FT article.
